Thursday, April 11, 6:30-8:30pm, Middle Eastern Feast Class, $85, This Middle Eastern Feast will surprise your taste buds. You will be amazed by this fragrant one pot dish layered with vegetables and chicken. It will be flipped upside down for a stunning presentation they call Maqluba. Accompanying this dish will be a delicious beet Tahiti salad and the ever popular pita bread, which we’ll dip in the best olive oil the Middle East has to offer. Let me share with you my knowledge of their culture through the time I spent learning their cuisine.

Tuesdays, April 30, 6:30-8:30pm, Chinese Kitchen, Pork Bao Class, $85,  Master the techniques of Chinese cooking as we make traditional Pork Bao, baked and steamed for a truly delicious class. No trips to Pike’s Place after you have learned this traditional buns secret.

Thursday, May 2, 6:30-8:30pm,  Japanese Soba Noodles, $85, We’ll make the unique Japanese buckwheat noodle called Soba, learning to knead and cut by hand. They will be served cold with tsuyu which is made of a strong mixture of dashi, sweetened soy sauce called satōjōyu and mirin, noodles will be dipped in the traditional way, also we’ll put them in a hot broth called Tsukimi, topped with raw egg, and poaches in the hot soup.

Tuesdays, May 7, 6:30-8:30pm, Chinese Kitchen, Soups, $85,  Master the techniques of Chinese cooking as we make Wontons for a delicious soup, spice up the night with a Hot and Sour soup, and a mellow Egg Flower soup. Uniquely served as a main course or accompanying your favorite Chinese entrée.

Tuesday, May 21, 6:30-8:30pm, Chile Relleno Cooking Class, $85, Chile rellenos are one of the most emblematic dishes in Mexican cuisine, with origins dating back to the Spanish conquest of Mexico in the 16th century.  We will make delicious roasted poblano chile stuffed with cheese and covered in a fluffy egg batter and fried for a crisp batter, served with a homemade mild red chile sauce. Join me as we carry on this wonderful tradition.


Masterchef Cooking Courses:

Tuesdays, April 30, May 7, and 14,  6:30-8:30pm, Cooking Course, Chinese Kitchen, $180,  Master the techniques of Chinese cooking as we make a full meal over 3 days. Pork Bao, baked and steamed, Won Ton, Hot and Sour, and Egg Flower soups, and Sweet and Sour Chicken, and a flavorful Salt and Pepper Pork.

Thursday, May 2, 9, 16, 6:30-8:30pm, Cooking Course, Asian Noodles, $180,  Have you always wanted to make a homemade miso soup or a spicy ramen bowl? This is the coarse for you! We’ll start off with the unique Japanese buckwheat noodle called Soba, served chilled with a dipping sauce, and in a hot broth soup. Then you’ll master the Udon, a thick noodle with a flavored broth made of dashi, soy sauce, and mirin. Ending with the Ramen in a seasoned broth, with veggies, meat and chili sauce with soft boiled egg. Dinner is served!
