Not only is the texture lighter and crisper, but homemade muffins also taste better too — yeasty, wheaty, and complex with the added benefit of sourdough. The dough will seem wet when shaped into rounds, but the high hydration is key to forming those nooks and crannies we all love. We’ll serve ours with homemade Devonshire cream and jam.
