The Philippines absorbed significant Spanish influence on its cuisine, and this dish exemplifies that East meets West fusion. The sweet, rich, and tangy adobo sauce reminds me of  Thai dishes that have sweet, sour, salty, and hot flavors.  We will make a Filipino lumpia and fragrant sticky rice.
