ZOOM COOKING CLASSES WITH CHEF VICTORIA OF CULINARY IMMIGRATION
Much of our lives are virtual since the pandemic. I’m working from home also, keeping up with friends through social media. The current pandemic has invited us to turn to new forms of cooking entertainment we can participate in from home, virtual social events.
One way to mix up your pandemic routine is through a Zoom cooking class. There’s no reason to go out to learn new kitchen skills and cook a delicious meal; chef Victoria will come straight to you, via your home computer or tablet!
These interactive classes let you tune in live, hosted on Zoom. A detailed instructions will be emailed to you days ahead so you can plan and shop for the class of your choice.
Zoom Class, Tuesday, Sept 21st, 3:00pm-4:30pm, Galette Pie, $29, The French galette is very versatile. It can be made sweet for a quick fruit pie or it can be filled with savory vegetables and feta cheese like we’ll make. Seasonal vegetables, cheese and herbs will be baked in a galette pastry for a quick easy meal. Serve hot or room temperature.
Zoom Class, Wednesday, September 22, 3:00pm-4:30pm, Quick Skillet chicken dinner, $29, Pan roasted chicken will be transformed into a succulent chicken dinner. Pan juices are transformed into a delicious sauce to pair with a creamy potato mash. Dinners ready!
Zoom Class, October 7th, 1:00-2:30pm, Homemade Mexican Salsa, $29, Learn to create fresh salsas for your meals. We will put together a fresh pico de gallo, a sweet and spicy hot sauce and a smoky chipotle hot sauce. You will never again buy hot sauce after you taste this in your favorite recipes.
