Gluten Free Dinner Roll recipe

2 3/4 cups (ll.5 oz.) Gluten free Gf Jules all purpose flour

1 1/2 tsp. xanthan gum

2 1/4 tsp. dried yeast or instant

2 tbsp. sugar

1 1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup warm water (100 – 110 degrees)

2 tbsp. butter or dairy free margarine

1 egg room temperature

1 tsp. apple cider vinegar

In an electric mixer, mix together the flour, xanthan gum, yeast, sugar, and salt.  With the mixer on low speed, add the water, melted butter, egg, and vinegar.  Mix for 2-3 minutes until the dough pulls away from the bowls side.

Spread a round cake pan or pie plate with butter.  Using a 1/3 cup measuring scoop the dough into small round buns, making 8 to 9 placing them side by side around the pan.

Take some warm water and use it to smooth out the dough on the top of the buns. Cover with a dry towel for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees and melt some more butter to brush the tops of the buns before baking.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown or until the temperature reaches 200 degrees.

Brush the buns after they are removed from the oven with more butter if you’d like. Cool a few minutes before eating.  Enjoy
