Honey mustard chicken recipe

2 chicken breasts

6 mushrooms thinly sliced

1 shallot finely chopped

2 garlic cloves minced

2 tablespoons flour

2 tablespoon parsley chopped

2 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon Dijon

1 tablespoon grain mustard

1 tablespoon soy sauce

3 tablespoon honey

1/2 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoon heavy cream

Combine the mustards, soy sauce, chicken broth, heavy cream, and honey in a small bowl set aside.

In a dutch oven over medium heat add the olive oil and butter, melt.  Add to that the mushrooms, shallots, and garlic, saute until the shallots are translucent.  Now add the chicken and saute for another 5 minutes until cooked through. Once the chicken is done sprinkle the flour over the entire contents of the pan and stir.  Allow the flour to cook a bit in the pan juices.  Now add the mustard mixture and chopped parsley to the chicken and stir to combine.  Bring it to a boil for a minute until it has thickened. Turn it down to a simmer.  You're ready to serve with rice or potatoes.
