Carrot Turmeric Hummus Recipe
A healthy alternative to traditional hummus is this carrot turmeric hummus recipe.

1 lb. carrots, peeled and halved crosswise
1/2 cup tahini
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
2 garlic cloves
3 ice cubes
Kosher salt
1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
In a blender transfer drained carrots, tahini, lemon juice, turmeric, garlic, pepper and ice cubes. Season with salt and puree until smooth.
Spoon into a bowl and garnish with a drizzle of olive oil, walnuts, and pomegranates.
